It takes between four and twenty minutes to scan a single photo negative or slide to meet the technical quality that a professional digital photo laboratory can achieve. This means that if you want to scan a little more than 500 originals it would take a single person between one and five full working weeks to complete the job. We want you to feel comfortable in sending your originals to us. We are experienced in photography work since 1990 and we appreciate that your slides are important to you. That is why we work according to a documented Quality Policy and Environmental Policy. Our company is Swedish and all processing is performed in Sweden.
You own the originals you send to us and no rights are transferred to us when we process them. Persons who handles your images are bound by confidentiality agreements. Our privacy management of your images and personal data is certified since 2008. That means that your images will not end up in the wrong hands.
To show slides you need a slide projector, projector screen and a dark room. When it comes to photo negatives and APS rolls, you have to make new paper copies if you have lost your old ones, and traditional photo albums take time to prepare. Make it simple for yourself and show your photos on a TV or a computer!
There are plenty of photo negative clips, APS rolls of film and 35mm slides hidden in drawers, stored on shelves in garages, in shoe boxes and other storage boxes. When DiaDirekt transfers your photos you get them delivered in nice full colour covers. Slides, photo negatives, APS rolls and other originals deteriorate over time - especially if they are not kept under the right conditions regarding light, temperature and humidity. By using DiaDirekt your originals are transferred into digital photos that can be shared between computers without losing image quality.
We deliver the digital images without any copy protection or other special requirements. Photo enthusiasts with the appropriate software can easily adjust the images e.g. cropping, calibrating colour or contrast, before using the photos for new purposes.
